Past tenants have found this house is especially ideal for their holidays because the property is enclosed and therefore safe to let children and dogs out into the garden. The garden is south facing, very sheltered and surrounded by colourful shrubs and small trees and the harbour is within short walking distance.

Kitchen area has a window over the sink facing across to the harbour (view better when the leaves have fallen off the trees) The kitchen is well equipped with Electric cooker, Frig, Dishwasher, Belfast sink, washing machine, Microwave.
Dining area faces south on to the garden.Table which seats six people or easily extended seats up to 8 people. WiFi and telephone in this area. Stable door to garden.

UPSTAIRS has 4 bedrooms and two bathroms.
Large master bedroom. windows facing north over the harbour and south over the garden. King size bed, 2 chest of drawers and wardrobe, ensuite shower room with two basins and WC and underfloor heating. Two further bedrooms with double beds, and one futher south facing bedroom with 2 adult size bunk beds. Upstairs shower room with WC and basin.

NB to past tenants
In November 2019 New shower/WC and basin have replaced north facing single bedroom. South facing single bedroom now has 2 adult size bunk beds instead of one single bed.
Entrance is through an archway with large solid wooden gates which when closed makes the property and garden secure. Entry can also be obtained through a small side door let in to one of the big wooden gates. The enclosed courtyard garden is surrounded by small trees and shrubs and has a hardwood table and chairs, brick built barbecue and a rotary clothes line. Off road parking on the gravelled area for up to three cars. There is also a small separate enclosed area which can be used for dogs or for parking one small boat..
Brancaster Staithe is a pretty village on the coastal path. Ithere is a working fishing harbour and an active sailing club . Two good pubs within walking distance of the house ,(one 5 minutes and the other ten minutes away). A really good fish shop selling locally caught fish, (10 minutes walk ) petrol station , small supermarket, and other interesting shops(about 15 minutes walk) . Locally available are boat trips to see the seals and Scolt Head island, Fishing trips, sailing,, tennis courts, bicycle hire are available and opportunities to buy oysters and mussels from the local fishermen. Titchwell bird sanctuary is approx 3 miles away and there are plenty of stately homes and old churches in the area to visit. The local beaches of Holkham and Brancaster are really beautiful, miles of sand and few people. Brancaster marsh is teeming with bird life and is a National Trust property The Royal West Norfolk Golf Club is close by. The local buses stop in the village so you can walk the coastal path and bus back if you get tired.
