Our Story
Glaven Valley began as a visionary project in 2001 created by Steve Wiles, who recognised the potential of online promotion for local holiday accommodations. Steve and tech-savvy Oliver Riviere established a platform that quickly became a cornerstone for holiday cottage marketing in Norfolk. The website flourished, with Steve's son, Harry, propelling the development further from 2012, and Emma Young stepping in to manage customer services brilliantly from 2014. As we stepped into 2023, Glaven Valley welcomed Josh Ralph to the helm, steering us into an exciting new era after the well-earned retirement of our previous owners.

Advertising your Norfolk holiday property with Glaven Valley
Our goal at Glaven Valley is to help put you back in control of your property. We understand that not everyone wants to use the big name platforms, such as Airbnb, and so we are well positioned to help you attract high quality enquiries from potential guests who are still looking to book directly with property owners.
We are not an agency
Whilst we work alongside many agencies, we ourselves are not one. This means that you have complete control of how you run and manage your property. You're free to choose who you rent your property to, when you wish to accept bookings, and for how much. We don't impose any onerous conditions or limitations on you or your property, so you can market it as you see fit.
Our fees
We offer a very simple pricing model, whereby we charge a fixed annual listing fee of £180. This includes all functionality with no limits imposed on the number of views or enquiries you can receive.
You also have the option to increase the prominence of your property by featuring it on one of our primary pages (such as the home page, Norfolk Holiday Cottages page, or Norfolk Bed and Breakfast page). This also means that your property will show towards the top of other search results throughout the site. There is an additional fee to feature your property in this way, however doing so is completely optional.
There are no other hidden or commission based fees to pay.
Non exclusive
If you're already working with an agency, or advertising your property on other platforms, that's no problem at all. We don't ask for any level of exclusivity when you sign up to advertise with us, but simply offer another channel to position your property in front of potential guests, and receive high quality booking enquiries.
