Coastguard Cottage is a well equipped, recently refurbished 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom holiday cottage located in picturesque Wells-next-the-Sea, North Norfolk.
It is a great base for exploring Wells and beyond and with its high speed internet, also allows you to work from home.

Downstairs the cottage offers:
A lounge with comfy sofa to sit six with TV, dvd player & games. There is a woodburner for winter breaks as well as gas central heating.
A separate dining room with seating for 6 and a highchair.
A well equipped kitchen with a range cooker, microwave, nespresso machine, dishwasher, fridge and separate freezer.
A shower room.
A utility with washing machine and tumble drier.

Upstairs the cottage offers:
The main bedroom has a king sized bed with TV, radio, selection of books etc. There is a travel cot available if you need it.
The second bedroom has a double bed with tv, radio etc.
The third bedroom has 2 single beds at either end of the room so each person has their own area.
The family bathroom has a shower over the bath.

Further Information:
Linen and towels are provided.
During the summer season & Christmas, we only book full weeks (normally commencing Fridays). The rest of the year we offer 3/4 night breaks (Mon-Fri & Fri-Mon).

Dog Friendly
Coastguard Cottage is dog friendly all we ask is that they do not go on the furniture and are not allowed upstairs. All the floors downstairs are wooden which makes it easy to wipe down and outside there is a outside tap/ hose to wash them down after a day on the beach.
Wells-next-the-sea is very dog friendly as not only will they enjoy the walks and beaches but dogs are welcome in most restaurants and pubs.

1 king, 1 double and 1 twin bedroom.

Outside Property

Outside, there is plenty of space to relax in the enclosed garden which is child and dog friendly. It has off-street parking for 3 cars - a big bonus in Wells. There is a table with chairs for al fresco eating as well as loungers and deckchairs.

Surrounding Area

Once you park, you can leave your car for the whole stay. It is a short walk to the main street with its shops, restaurants and cafes. You can walk to the award winning Wells beach which is great for families and dogs. If you want to walk further afield, you can walk to Holkham Hall either along the beach or along the road via the side entrance. Holkham has plenty of activities as well as a great parkrun.
If you want to walk further, you can walk along North Norfolk path and take the bus back to Wells.
From Wells, you can also take the steam railway to Walsingham, an interesting place to wander round with its Catholic and Church of England shrines.
Don't miss out on a trip to see the seals at Blakeney point, the boats leave from Morston, a short drive away.
You can also jump in the car and go to the Norfolk broads or Norwich.
