No 1 Boatman's Row is an idyllic old cottage in the historic harbour town of Wells-next-the-sea. It is in walking distance of the stunning sandy beach at Wells and Holkham and a 5 minute walk to Wells Quay. It has one bedroom with a king sized bed and sleeps two adults in comfort. The cottage has original features, a wood-burning stove, an attic room with views of the marshes and a beautifully situated cottage garden to relax in.
Downstairs is a living room with two sofas, a wood-burning stove, TV, DVD, radio and a small fully-equipped kitchen with cooker, fridge, washing machine etc; upstairs is a double bedroom and bathroom with bath and shower. The loft has been converted into an additional sitting room with beautiful views of the marshes and the sea beyond. The sandy beach at Wells and Holkham is 30 minutes stroll across the marshes or 3 minutes in the car.
Boatman's Row offers a relaxing holiday in a great location with fantastic views. Popular with wildlife lovers, walkers or those escaping the hustle and bustle.

The cottage is on a quiet lane and makes a brilliant retreat. It is also just five minutes walk from Wells' bustling town centre, and quay with fantastic fish and chips. The surrounding countryside is rich in nature reserves, marshes, woodland, flint churches, miniature railways, old railway lines and stately homes. You can hire bikes in Wells and explore the area - it is good cycling country.
