10 Brig Square in Wells-next-the-Sea

Cosy and comfortable 2 storey Norfolk cottage tucked away in a quiet private square 2 minutes walk from Wells bustling quay and quaint high street. Well behaved dogs welcome - maximum of 2 dogs and a small charge of £20 for 1 or 2 dogs.

The cottage has open plan living and dining room on the ground floor with flat screen TV, freeview, DVD player and wifi. The kitchen is small but modern and well equipped and includes microwave and washing machine. The bathroom, also on the ground floor is light and airy with bath, high powered shower and shaving point.

The first floor has a very spacious twin room with view of the square. There are full size twin beds which can be made up as a king size double on request. We have a travel cot if required and there is ample space to put it up in either bedroom. A separate landing leads to stairs to the second floor.

The attic bedroom is a sunny, dual aspect room with views over both the square and the channel leading out to sea, and has a king size bed.

We continually look for ways to make your stay more comfortable. The beds are of good quality and there are black out blinds at the bedroom windows to facilitate as long a lie in as possible!

A rental week normally runs from Friday to Friday although we do offer short breaks in the lower season from November to March. Check-in time from 4pm, check-out by 11am.

A £100 deposit is required at the time of booking, with full payment due 6 weeks prior to your stay.

Prices include heating and electricity. Bed linen and bath towels are provided but please bring your own beach towels.

Outside Property

There are small courtyards with space to sit out at both front and rear so you can enjoy a cup of coffee in the sunshine at any time of day.

The cottage has one allocated parking space directly outside in Brig Square. Additional vehicles can be parked on Freeman Street (in low season) or at the quay pay and display car park just 2 minutes walk away.

Surrounding Area

Wells-next-the-Sea is a very special seaside town.
The town itself has many independent shops selling local produce and crafts, plus art galleries, lovely pubs, cafes and restaurants. The high street leads down to
the busy fishing quay which is only 2 minutes from the cottage. Our children love to fish for crabs from the edge of the quay, and visit the amusement arcade, the ice cream stall and the sweet shop. There is also an excellent play park between the cottage and the quay which we are always compelled to visit.
From the quay it's a mile walk (or a short minature train ride) down to Wells beach. The raised footpath affords great views over the channel and salt marshes, the harbour and the town itself. Wells' vast sandy beach, with its sand dunes and famous colourful beach huts backs on to majestic pine woods and is designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The area is very popular with nature lovers, and you can spot oyster catchers and ringed plovers, who nest on the beach, along with some common and little terns.
