Fishermen’s Cottage has been sympathetically refurbished whilst retaining elements of its past only 150m from the beautiful blue flag beach and town centre in the seaside town of Sheringham.
Sleeping up to six guests in three bedrooms we aim to provide a relaxing and comfortable home away from home experience.
Please note: Varying levels and steep stairs make this unsuitable to the less mobile.
The accommodation comprises of:
Sitting room with seating for up to eight guests and a log burner that is easy to use. There is a large flat screen smart TV with SKY and a DVD player. Super fast broadband is included in the rental.
The kitchen has everything you could need to make your holiday home, with a dishwasher, electric oven and hob, and a fridge and freezer together with Nespresso coffee machine. The kitchen leads to a dining room that provides seating for six guests with a cosy chair and reading lamp.
The utility room has washer/dryer, microwave and second fridge, coat hooks and boot racks with a door to the garden.
The ground floor bathroom has a bath with shower.
To the first floor are two well appointed bedrooms, one with a king-sized bed with fitted cupboards and the second with twin beds
Steep stairs lead to the third bedroom with twin beds and more fitted cupboards.
All bedrooms provide hanging space with hangers. White bed linen, bath and hand towels and bath-mats are provided.
One well behaved dog accepted subject to agreement and an additional fee of £25 per stay.
During peak season weekly bookings are Friday to Friday, otherwise we are flexible with changeover dates subject to availability and short breaks may be available in low season.

The property can be booked with the adjoining Mill Pond Cottage to provide accommodation to sleep up to 14.

Outside Property

Outside there is a small terrace to the front of the property with steps to Beeston Road. To the rear is a private courtyard garden with deck over the stream (fenced for safety) with table and chairs providing a restful suntrap.
Parking for one car to the rear with lockable store for your own bikes, boards, wetsuits beach gear etc. Charcoal BBQ is provided for your use.

Surrounding Area

Only 150m from the beach and a short walk to the town centre of Sheringham.
There are a number of beaches in Sheringham itself that are pebbly at high tide but with large expanses of sand at low tide. Sheringham is a traditional seaside town with much to do for the family of all ages, no shortage of places to eat and drink and with easy access to the North Norfolk coastal path.
Sheringham also benefits from a good bus service to all the surrounding areas plus mainline train to Norwich and the Poppyline train to Holt.
Sheringham has it's own golf course plus two pitch and putt courses, an indoor pool, museums and much more to visit in the wider area.
