Although no formal garden, similar many old properties in the town, it is possible to sit outside in the loke, over which we have a right of way…..but with the beach and promenade so close we choose to go there!
Parking is free in some nearby streets. Cliff Road council car park is very close and is pound;5 daily - free after 6pm until 8am. Weekly passes can be purchased at the Tourist Information Centre..
Situated in a quiet loke, free of traffic, yet just 200 yards from the seafront and high street, The Anchorage is a great bolthole from which to explore Sheringham and the sights and delights of North Norfolk.
The Sheringham beaches are safe and clean and are amongst the best we have found for families with children. Sheringham is one of the few places in the British Isles where you can see the sunrise and sunset over the sea.
