Lavender House in Sheringham
The house is really spacious with high ceilings, re-painted throughout in 2020 and is completely child friendly (including 2 travel cots and 2 baby booster seats) making it a great place to stay for a relaxing family holiday. Rated **** by Visit England.

COVID19 'Rule of 6' - During the time that the UK 'Rule of 6' applies, please send a message to ask for a revised cost for only 6 people. You will be able to choose which bedrooms you would like to use and the other 3 bedrooms will not be made available. The rest of the house (except those 3 bedrooms) will be available for use by the 6 people. Quite a luxury stay!
Ground Floor:Large sitting room with wooden floor and large bay window, comfortable seating, flat screen Freesat TV and electric log burner. Great second sitting room/playroom with comfortable seating, flat screen TV, DVD player. Also many toys, books and games.Large kitchen/breakfast room with large table (seats 12) and well-equipped with electric oven, gas hob, fridge/freezer, extra (beer?!) fridge, microwave, dishwasher, walk in pantry, iPod dock.Cloakroom with washbasin and wc.
First Floor:Bedroom 1 - very large with a king-size bed Bedroom 2 - large with a lovely bay window and super king bed Bedroom 3 - smaller but with full-size bunk beds. Bathroom with bath, over-bath shower, washbasin. Just decorated. Cloakroom with wc.
Second Floor:Bedroom 4 - good size and with twin beds Bedroom 5 - large with a king size bed Bedroom 6 - smaller but with full-size bunk beds.
Stairs Down To:Laundry Area with washing machine and storage, external door with stairs down to garden Shower Room with large shower cubicle, washbasin and wc (recently refurbished) (these 2 rooms are accessed from second floor landing.
Also Provided: 2 stairgates, 2 travel cots, 2 booster seats, 2 bed guards, children's toys and DVDs, books and games for all.
We also offer free and unlimited Wifi for the duration of your stay.

Fully enclosed courtyard with huge deck and rattan seating for 12 people (recently renovated). Also buckets and spades for your use

About the neighbourhood:
The beach is so close to the house that you can just park your car and enjoy all the activities which are within walking distance, especially if you have smaller children. You can gamble at the arcade or go crabbing on the rocks. You can walk westwards or eastwards along the coast and find pubs to enjoy lunch. The local swimming pool has a wave machine and slide. Sheringham is a very happy town with a busy local community and lots going on, including a carnival, the Little Theatre hosting great shows and lots of lovely little shops, including antiques and curios and a fish shop, butchers, delicatessen and local supermarket 2 minutes away for all your needs. Also great coffee shops (some on sea front) restaurants including Thai restaurant and lovely pubs which serve children's meals. There is also a Tourist Information Centre a very short walk away at Sheringham Station.
Sheringham is ideally situated to explore all of the North Norfolk coast. Sheringham train station offers an hourly service into Norwich, stopping in Wroxham along the way, from where you can travel directly into London or Cambridge. The Coastal Hopper bus service is available all year round and travels up the coast as far as Kings Lynn to the North and Great Yarmouth to the South.
How to get there
Take A14/A11 roads heading towards Norwich and then branch off to A148. Stay on this road until signposted to Sheringham.
