Ivy Cottage is the perfect family holiday base in Thornham - with plenty of space to accomodate everyone comfortably.

DOWNSTAIRS
Large living room with original beams, pamment tiles (underfloor heating so very warm), inglenook fireplace, that can comfortably accommodate eight people with two sofas, two armchairs and a rocking chair. WiFi, 43 inch 'smart' television, DVD with a good mix of DVDs, books and games.
Separate large kitchen with arch through to garden/dining room. The kitchen contains all that is required to entertain, including a Rangemaster cooker with double oven and five ceramic hobs. All other appliances are Bosch including the dishwasher and a large fridge freezer.
The light and airy dining/ garden room, has French doors that open on to the patio and garden. It is a pleasure to sit in the dining room and enjoy the garden whatever time of day it might be. The dining table can seat eight comfortably.
A cloakroom and utility area (washing machine and tumbler dryer) are also on the ground floor.

UPSTAIRS
The original floor boards (worm holes included) have been sanded and varnished, and covered with rugs.
Main bedroom – furnished with a double bed, a large chest of drawers and a built in cupboard with hanging space for clothes
Bedroom 2 also contains a double bed and large chest of drawers.
Bedroom 3 contains two single beds, a pine chest and a cupboard with limited hanging space for clothes.
Family bathroom and separate shower room, both of which contain toilet and sink.

Outside Property

A beautiful walled secure garden with apple and mulberry trees. There is a small herb patch at the end of the garden, cooks feel free to use these.
The large patio area has table and chairs to seat 6 people and a barbeque.
On street parking or if you frequent the Chequers pub (a minutes walk away) the landlord (pl ask) is normally accommodating.

Surrounding Area

Thornham is one of Norfolk's most beautiful coastal villages, on the North Norfolk Coast in an area of outstanding natural beauty. It has a long ‘smuggling’ history and is oozing with character. You will find traditional flint cottages, fabulous walks, fresh sea air, sandy beaches and welcoming inns serving fine food and ales, who could want for more.
Ivy cottage is a short walk from three superb pubs and a great village deli/coffee shop. The pubs are the Chequers (1 minute) the Orange Tree (2 minutes) and the famous Lifeboat Inn (5 minutes) - enjoy the walk. The salt marshes for which this coast is well known are a five minute walk away, whilst the harbour is ten minutes. Nearby is Drove Orchards farm shop selling its own and other local produce including seasonally available fresh fruit and vegetables.
