Private access road with only three other properties in the immediate vicinity. The area is renowned as an ornithological magnate particularly during migration.
There is a little tern breeding colony on the Marsh - April to July. This is also one of the few places in the Country that you find common and grey seals together. These can be viewed by a boat trip from one of the boatman working out of Morston and Blakeney, or by walking over to them at low tide from the cottage.
Stiffkey has a very good 16th century freehouse pub which is also child & dog friendly, and Post Office/general stores/cafe. It is an easy walk from the cottage on a path.
The North sea is tidal which means the marsh fills with water twice a day.
