Set within a residential street in sought after Stiffkey, Marsh End Cottage is adjacent to the owners home located at the edge of the beautiful Stiffkey Marshes. It has views towards the sea.
Take a pleasant stroll from the garden directly onto the Bridleway across the field and onto the Saltmarsh. Several bridges take you over the little creeks across the marsh and onto a sandy beach. Great for swimming, birdwatching, cockling and taking a picnic.
Very close by lies the lovely seaside town of Wells-next-the-sea and its much photographed quay, with its artisan boutiques, shops and bars.There is also a narrow gauge railway which takes you down to the wide sandy beach and pretty painted beach huts.
Head west from Stiffkey and all along the coast find a string of pretty coastal villages including Holkham and Brancaster.
Head east to Blakeney with its harbour as well as Cley
and enjoy the local pursuit of crabbing and in the evening enjoy the host of Individual award winning eateries and restaurants.
Birdwatchers will be well placed to view the wildlife to be found in this rich area of outstanding natural beauty.
After a day exploring enjoy a good nights sleep at the quiet Marsh End Cottage.
