The cottage dates back to the 1846 and has just been completely refurbished it now boosts a modern kitchen and bathroom all to a five star standard. The living room has a large wood burning fire for the cosy winter nights in by the fire.
The cottage has three bedrooms and also has a glass covered summer room which leads to a small outside courtyard complete with barbeque and small outside eating area. This area is gated and very secure, ideal for small children (This room will only be open from May until September)
Bunk beds are located on the ground floor these are more suited to older children from 9 years and upwards, this room is small but a great den for the kids or alternatively adult could sleep in this room without any problems.
This has a double bed and fitted wardrobes and looks onto the front garden.
Has two single beds and a small fitted wardrobe these single beds can also be pushed together to make a large double. If this is required please let us know when you are booking and we will fit the correct bedding to suit.
The entrance to the cottage is accessed from the front garden just off from your private driveway. The door opens into the terracotta floored hallway this leads into the kitchen.
The cottage has a landscaped garden to the front of the property with a small patio areas with a new England style bench & chair. There is also a small bench set into the garden ideal for a G&T or large glass of wine after a long day walking on the beach or sightseeing. The property has a large pebbled drive to the side which is capable of taking up to three car it also has a large set of gates to the front of cottage which can be locked making the property secure for both small
children and dogs.
The property has a small glass roofed summer room which as a dinning table with six chairs and a small seating area. This room is great for those English summer rainy days. Off this room is a small courtyard with another small table & chairs this area is gated and is very secure for small children and dogs, to the rear of the property is another area ideal for barbeque and those lazy summer evenings.
The lovely village of Old Hunstanton, dating back to the 13th century, marks the start of the wonderful North Norfolk coast, much of it an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The harbours, beaches, marshes and quaint villages bordering the Wash are delightful places to visit, while the inland villages and Georgian market towns such as nearby Burnham Market and Holt have a wealth of individual shops and restaurants to enjoy. There are many great restaurants and gastro pubs in the surrounding area. The Michelin starred Neptune Inn two minutes walk from the Cottage, The Lodge Hotel is virtually next door. Titchwell Manor and Eating Rooms at Titchwell, the Ship Inn at Brancaster, the White Horse at Brancaster Staithe, and Hoste Arms in Burnham Market to name just a few.
The beach cafe at Old Hunstanton, the Brancaster Beach Kiosk, the Burnham Deepdale Cafe are all brilliant for a cup of tea and sandwiches or light lunches - often using the best of local and seasonal ingredients.
