"Wavecrest" was originally built as a beach chalet in 1933 and has been completely renovated in 2015, with a new kitchen and bathrooms, while retaining the charm of original features such as the stripped pine floors. The house now has several large living areas, including a new first floor sitting room and balcony with spectacular views over The Wash. The total internal area is over 3,000 square feet, and there are two large balconies and a side deck. With its exceptionally spacious accommodation, the house is ideal at any time of year for family groups of all ages, including two 4-legged friends, to come together and enjoy a holiday right by the sea.

NOTE: Week-long bookings required during the summer, from Friday to Friday; at other times, long week-ends (3 nights Friday to Monday) and mid-week breaks (4 nights Monday to Friday) are available. Contact us to discuss longer stays. Maximum of 2 dogs at no extra charge.

GROUND FLOOR LEVEL
Open-plan dining area and sitting room with wood burning stove. TV and DVD player. Study area.
Glazed double doors lead through to sun-room/conservatory, with French doors onto the dunes.
Well-equipped open-plan kitchen, with American-style fridge freezer, two-oven electric range cooker, microwave and dishwasher.
Double bedroom with ensuite bathroom (bath and hand-shower).
2 twin bedrooms, with a cloakroom opposite.
LOWER GROUND FLOOR LEVEL
Wet room with WC and shower (disabled-friendly facilities).
Side door leading to walk-through shower area with foot-bath and shower to use when coming from the beach.
Entrance lobby/recreation room with table football and full-size table tennis.
Utility room with sink and washing machine.
Boiler room with room to store your own bicycle or windsurfer, kayak, etc.
FIRST FLOOR LEVEL
Sitting room with sea view, and French doors leading onto west-facing deck. Smart TV.

Outside Property

The house is nestled among the marram grass dunes at South Beach, just a few steps from the sea and with uninterrupted views across The Wash. As well as two large balconies and a side deck, there is a large unfenced area around the house for football, cricket, etc. The large recreation room with table football and full-size table tennis means that everyone can still stay active if it's less appealing outside.
Ample parking. Note that access is by an unmade road which can be bumpy.

Surrounding Area

South Beach, Heacham, is known for its safe swimming and paddling, and extensive sand flats at low tide. Watersports enthusiasts can bring their own boards and kayaks. Heacham village is well served with supermarkets, Walsingham Farm Shop and pubs and restaurants. Hunstanton has many attractions and larger supermarkets, and Sandringham and other visitor attractions are within 10-20 minutes drive.
