Primrose Cottage is light, bright and provides spacious accommodation for up to 7 guests. It lends itself to a multigenerational family group with ample room for teenagers and grandparents to have their own “space” but is equally well suited to two or three couples or a group of friends. However it is equally cosy for a smaller party or a couple to enjoy a relaxing break in a comfortable space.
Additionally, larger groups or several families wishing to holiday together, may be interested to know that our adjoining cottage (Lavender Cottage, BInham) is also available to rent and can sleep a further 4 guests - it is equally well appointed. Please see separate listing on this site for further information or contact the owner about renting both cottages.
Back to Primrose Cottage, the accommodation is presented with taste and style. It is spacious yet retains a quintessential cottage feel with beamed ceilings, the luxury of oil fired central and two woodburners. (Starter supply of logs provided during winter months). It is equipped with a spacious fitted kitchen incorporating bespoke larder unit, Granite worktops and integrated fridge, freezer, dishwasher, microwave, electric oven and hob. The utility room houses washing machine and separate tumble dryer together with a useful shower. Separate downstairs cloakroom with WC and basin. The kitchen flows into the beamed dual aspect dining room with glass table seating 8 and a lovely feature inglenook fireplace and woodburner. The tiled rear hallway has a door into the pretty, enclosed garden with teak table, chairs, parasol and cushions. This leads into a lovely large, light sitting/garden room with cosy sofas and fireplace with a second woodburner (or portable electric fire) at one end and conservatory style windows and large french doors opening onto the garden and patio at the far end. Well equipped with large flat screen TV with integrated freeview, separate DVD player, iphone docking station and Hub with wi-fi access. A wide, straight and undemanding flight of stairs leads to the bedrooms - the light and airy master bedroom with 5 foot king size bed, wall mounted TV with freeview, generous fitted wardrobes and an adjoining shower room with electric shower, washbasin and toilet. There are a further two twin bedrooms, both with wall mounted flat screen TV’s with freeview (1 with integrated DVD player). One twin room has a feature brick chimney breast wall and window overlooking side garden, it has twin 3 foot beds and usually features fun Emma Bridgewater Polka Dot linen and is ideal for two children or a couple. The second twin bedroom is a lovely spacious room with views over the village. This room can be made up as a super king upon request. The fourth bedroom Is a small single with safety window bars making it ideal for a child or infant in a travel cot. Also upstairs is the family bathroom with basin, toilet and bath with electric shower over bath.
Travel cot, high chair and pressure fit stair gate available if required (please request when booking).
Bookings run from Friday to Friday with short breaks and long weekends available out of peak season. Xmas/New Year breaks POA.

Ideally located in the heart of the quiet, unspoilt village of BINHAM with its famous 12th century Priory and ruins. A short walk to well stocked general store and The Chequers village pub serving good food. Fantastic base to explore the North Norfolk Coast at Blakeney (approx 3 miles) and the beautiful beaches of Holkham and Wells-next-the-Sea (approx 5 miles). Also within easy reach by car are Holt, Burnham Market and Walsingham. Ideal location for visiting National Trust properties, RSBP reserves, seal trips at Morston, Pensthorpe Nature Reserve, Thursford Organ Museum (with popular Christmas Spectacular), Langham Glass and Holkham Hall. Approximately 45 minutes drive to Norwich.
