Aylsham is a wonderful example of Norfolk's bustling market towns. The traditional market square has been largely unchanged since the 18th century, and the town has plenty of shops, pubs, restaurants and hotels to explore as well as a magnificent church, famed for the quality of its ten bell ring.
There are a number of attractions nearby to Aylsham, including the fantastic Jacobean house and gardens of Blickling hall. Aylsham is also one terminus of the Bure Valley Railway, a narrow gauge steam railway which runs along the 9 mile former railway line to Wroxham
