One of the key villages on the Norfolk Broads, a holiday cottage in Wroxham is the best starting place for any holiday exploring the broads. Adjacent to Hoveton, which also has some good holiday homes, the two villages are separated by the River Bure. Day boats can be hired so you can have a cruise around Wroxham Broad and other broads and rivers before returning to your cottage for dinner. Wroxham has a variety of shops including the classic Roys of Wroxham department store which is great for both holiday gifts and boating accessories. For a trip out why not take the children on the Bure Valley Steam Railway which runs from Wroxham to Aylsham through the beautiful Norfolk countryside.
