Chantry is reputed to date from the 17th Century and has undergone extensive refurbishment to make it a comfortable cottage to stay in and has recently had the bathroom, shower room and kitchen refurbished to a high standard. It retains many of the old beams and features that were previously part of the cottage.
All rooms face south, overlooking a small enclosed private courtyard garden. It is very secluded indeed but less than a minute from shops and transport. Free parking is available nearby.
The house is furnished throughout with antiques and the accommodation comprises:
Ground Floor: Lounge with comfortable seating, freesat TV and DVD player, wifi internet access
Dining room with large table and chairs seating 8.
Newly fitted kitchen with electric cooker, fridge, microwave and dishwasher.
First Floor: Double bedroom, twin bedroom and shower room with large, power shower. Washing machine and tumble drier in fitted cupboard.
Second Floor: double bedroom with kingsize bed, twin bedroom and bathroom with roll top bath.
All bed linen and bathroom towels are provided but not beach towels.
Chantry is ideal for 2 families maximum 8 people plus a baby.
The cottage has full gas central heating and water heating. Gas and electricity are included in the price.
A travel cot and high chair are available..

Chantry is tucked away in the center of Wells so is less than a minutes walk from the shops and cafes and only a couple of minutes walk away from the quay. Wells is a delightful town with most of the shops being small, family run businesses selling good quality and very often local produce at competitive prices but with that personal touch..
