Hill Cottage has been a very popular holiday cottage for over 10 years.
Guests' comfort is our main priority, so the cottage is furnished to a high standard, making you feel immediately at home from the moment you walk in.
The sitting room is perfect for a quiet night in. All you will want to do is curl up on the comfortable sofa with a good book and a glass of wine, or indulge in a bit of TV. And on chilly winter's evenings, to add to the already cosy ambience, there is a wood burning stove which pours out heat.
The sitting room leads onto a beautifully hand-crafted kitchen overlooking the back garden. It is well equipped with a dishwasher, fridge (with ice compartment), an electric oven and hob, microwave, toaster and kettle, and of course plenty of crockery and utensils for your stay.
From the kitchen, you enter a light and airy room with a rustic cream painted wooden table and chairs, and French doors opening out onto a terrace overlooking the back garden.
This is a perfect morning sun-trap to eat your freshly made breakfast whilst listening to the birds singing, or even to re-cap on your day's adventures over drinks and nibbles whilst enjoying Norfolk's famous balmy summer evenings.
Upstairs there is the en-suite bedroom which many consider the star attraction of the cottage. The original vaulted beams are exposed throughout the bedroom, allowing you to truly step back into the cottage's history.
You will sleep soundly on the luxury king-sized bed, crisp cotton sheets and duck down duvet and pillows. And the cottage's peaceful surroundings will ensure that not a sound will disturb your night's sleep, which guarantees you'll leave feeling rested and rejuvenated.
After a day exploring pretty Norfolk villages, beach walks and tasting what the great country pubs have to offer along North Norfolk's coastal roads, you're bound to want to take a long soak in the traditional free standing bath.
One Well Behaved dog is welcome at an additional cost of £15.

Outside Property

The cottage is tucked around the corner, at the bottom of a no-through road, and secluded with the garden adjoining onto common land. An iron gate leads you into the flint walled garden and up a gravel path to the front door. At the back of the cottage, there is a generous sized garden and terrace with table and chairs. The cottage backs on to woods and common land.

The nearest public Car Park is less than a five minute walk away at Albert Street, Holt, NR25 6HX.
Parking permit provided.

Hill Cottage is within easy access of so many of the attractions of this historic county. From the popular North Norfolk Coast with pretty villages, beach walks and abundant bird life to the historic stately homes, wonderful gardens and walks.
