Description
Upon entering Willow Tree Cottage you are greeted into a spacious hall where there is plenty of space for coats and boots. Here you will also find the cloakroom with a separate wc and sink. A cottage door opens into a beautiful open plan space where guests can appreciate the large kitchen area with breakfast bar and bar stools.
The kitchen-diner has a dining table that seats six with patio doors leading to an outdoor seating area with lovely views of the garden. The utility room has additional coat/boot space , sink & washing machine.
Off the dining area is a snug with sofa and a bookcase filled with games and a library of books. The sitting area has a tv and a dvd player with a choice of films and family entertainment on the bookshelf. There are 2 sofas, lots of cushions and throws to keep you warm and comfortable and an electric stove for the colder months. This room leads into the conservatory where there is further seating and lovely views of the gardens.
The bedroom wing is off the hall where you will find 3 private bedrooms and the family shower room (no bath). Bedroom 1 has a king size bed, bedroom 2 a 4’6” double & bedroom 3 a 3’6”single.

Sleeping Arrangements
1 king size master bedroom, 1 double bedroom and a single bedroom. 1 large shower room with wc and a separate cloakroom with wc.
Outside Property
The gardens are what makes this property special. Unusually for this location you will find a totally un-overlooked private half acre sanctuary where deep hedges and mature trees attract nature especially around the pond (unfenced).
There are many areas suitable for quiet contemplation, watching wildlife (we regularly have visiting deer, owls & all sorts of birds love to visit the pond) or perhaps a game of croquet on the lawn (provided!).
The garden is not fenced & there is a seasonal water filled ditch along some of the boundary. Dogs and / or children should be supervised at all times.
We offer our guests the use of 2 old adult (1 ladies & 1 gents) bikes at their own risk.
Surrounding Area
Wiveton is a small conservation hamlet filled with Norfolk flint cottages & is surrounded with beautiful undulating North Norfolk countryside with walks in every direction . The Wiveton Downs which are about 1 mile away are a particularly attractive draw for star gazers and nature lovers. Wiveton itself is a national dark sky area so lying on the garden loungers after dark to watch the sky fill with stars on a clear night is absolutely magical.
A gentle stroll will take you to a number of local pubs the closest being The Wiveton Bell (booking essential!) An award winning gastro pub with 2AA Rosettes and a Michelin Bib Gourmand serving excellent locally caught seafood and local ales. The beautiful coastal village of Blakeney with all its facilities, sailing and boating activities on the quay is just 1 mile away and even closer is Cley Next the Sea and its famous windmill, pubs and a fantastic deli selling freshly made croissants, artisan bread, local beers & wines etc. The nearest beach is Cley which is approximately a 40 minute stroll away (or 10 minute bike ride) and the Norfolk Wildlife Trust visitor Center at Cley is just along the coast road for some of the best bird watching in the country. The bustling market town of Holt is about 4 miles away with its superb range of independent shops and boutiques. Further afield you are not far from Wells next the Sea, Holkham beach and the seaside towns of Sheringham and Cromer with its famous pier.
