Surrounded by rolling fields, birdsong, and wide-open skies, Linhay is the perfect escape for families, couples or small groups looking to unwind and explore the best of West Norfolk.

This cosy ground-floor cottage sleeps up to 4 guests in two charming bedrooms - or up to 8 guests when booked with the adjoining Amville Cottage, ideal for extended families or friends holidaying together.

Step inside and you’ll find a spacious, open-plan living area, thoughtfully designed with your comfort and relaxation in mind. The fully equipped kitchen includes everything you need - from a dishwasher to modern cookware - while the dining area and comfy lounge invite guests to gather and enjoy time together. Underfloor heating throughout, powered by an air source heat pump, ensures a cosy stay whatever the season you choose to holiday.

Both bedrooms feature handmade wrought iron beds - one double, one twin - and are dressed in soft linens for a peaceful night's sleep. The modern shower room offers a walk-in shower, WC, hand basin, and a heated towel rail for a touch of luxury.

For moments of calm, open the patio doors and step out onto your private decking area, complete with garden furniture and a picnic bench. It is the perfect spot to enjoy an al fresco breakfast in the morning or watch the Buzzards & Red Kite overhead in the evening with a glass of wine in hand.

You will also find WiFi, FreeSat, HD TVs in the lounge and main bedroom, and a DVD player - ideal for winding down after a day of adventure.

Just a short walk away (approx. 50 yards), you’ll find a general store/post office and medical centre, plus friendly local pubs in Roydon and Congham.

Linhay Cottage is perfectly placed to explore North Norfolk’s coast and countryside. Spend the day on unspoiled beaches relaxing on the sand, visit RSPB Titchwell Marsh or RSPB Snettisham for endless wildlife spotting opportunities, or enjoy a family day out at Pensthorpe Natural Park.

Discover the grandeur of the Royal Sandringham Estate, explore the seaside charm of Hunstanton with it’s Sea Life Sanctuary, funfair or Alive Oasis leisure centre - or dive into the history of King’s Lynn, with its markets, architecture and rail links to Ely and Cambridge.

Further afield, enjoy a day trip to the fine city of Norwich to see the magnificent romanesque Cathedral, Norman Castle and fantastic shopping opportunities down the Norwich Lanes. If you prefer to be on the water, you could hire a boat on the Norfolk Broads and meander through the serene waterways of the Norfolk Broads National Park.
