Cherry Tree Cottage is located on the edge of the quiet but well-utilised village of Briston,

Tucked away on a quiet road, you are greeted by the old post box red door which leads you straight into the front room.

The lounge is a bright and airy with the great of a holiday cottage. There is a wood burner which is perfect for the cosy cottage feel, enjoy a good book, a glass of wine or just time with the family. There are 2 comfortable double settee’s and a flat-screen TV to keep you amused on the days you just wish to curl up and relax hi or low season.

Just to your left off of the lounge is the stairs which lead up to the 1st floor. All the bedrooms are located on this floor. the first room on your left is a single bedded room which has been finished in beautiful dark oak wood flooring, there is the main window which overlooks the garden and also a skylight, which is perfect for those clearer nights to lay and look at the stars.

Further down the hall on your left again is the single bedded room which is almost a mirror of the other room, oak wood floors, it has a window over the garden, a skylight window again, so no fighting over who gets to sleep under the stars!

Directly across the hall from this room is the double bedroom. As with the other rooms on the 1st floor, the flooring is dark oak wood, with dark oak furnishings within the room. There is a small TV in the corner for your pleasure. A comfortable metal double bed with side tables and a window overlooking the front of the property. The rooms have the perfect mix of homely cottage and welcoming fixings to make your stay feel like a home away from home.

Back downstairs off of the lounge you walk through an arched entryway into the dining room.

The flooring is original stone tile which gives this room so much character, you can almost picture the cottage how it would have looked 150 years ago, especially with the 2nd wood burning stove, which also has a rocker chair in front of it. This would be a perfect place to curl up with a book, made cosy with the heat from the wood burning stove next to you.

The pine and white dining table comfortably seats 4, the perfect place to lay out your favourite home-cooked meals and spend quality time eating together in the warm comfortable dining room.

Off the dining room is the kitchen, which has the perfect amount of space for 2 to cook comfortably. With a stainless oven, gas burning hobs, fridge, freezer, microwave, and everything else you would expect to find during your stay.

The ground floor bathroom is off the kitchen, it comprises of an over the shower bath, toilet, w/c and also an enclosed washing machine is located in here too.

There is a nice cottage sized garden, mature, colourful, planted area and a paved area right outside the back door. A seating area for 4 perfect for alfresco dining with BBQ. There is also a nice wooden lounge set for 2 in the garden. There is on-street parking next to the property.

Surrounding Area

There is a lovely pub called the 3 Horse Shoes which is only a 2-minute walk from the property which is great for nice days sitting outside in their garden or to go for a pub lunch/evening meal and a glass of wine (or two).

Being very close to Holt the cottage is situated in central North Norfolk with a plethora of great locations easy travelling distance from the front door.

Sea, sand, country parks, Stately Homes, Steam train rides, Seal colony visits, Cromer, Sheringham, Blakeney, Wells-Next-The-Sea are all a short distance away.
