Description
Hytte House blends Scandinavian-inspired design with practical comfort. Open-plan living with high-end furniture creates a relaxed space where friends and family can enjoy time together.
There are three bedrooms, each with its own en-suite, plus an office with a single sofa bed, sleeping up to seven guests in total. Luxury bedding, fresh linen and towels are provided.
The house is designed to be enjoyed all year round: underfloor heating throughout, exceptionally good insulation and an air-source heat pump keep every room warm even on the coldest days, with a 96/100 environmental impact rating.
Every stay includes fast WiFi, a TV package (Freely Freeview, Netflix, Amazon Prime, BBC iPlayer), tea and coffee provisions and plenty of hot water. Families are well catered for with a high chair, travel cot and children's cutlery.
One well-behaved dog is welcome by arrangement (£35 per stay).
Optional extras can be arranged before you arrive, including a breakfast package of local produce, sauna hire, kayak hire and private chef hire.
Sleeping Arrangements
Hytte House has three ensuite bedrooms upstairs. Two have king-sized double beds, and one has twin single beds. There is a downstairs office with a single sofa/chair bed for a 7th person if required. There is a downstairs cloakroom, but showers & baths are upstairs.
Outside Property
To the rear is a private garden with lawn, patio and an outdoor dining area, ideal for summer evenings.
Off-street parking is provided, with EV charging for electric cars.
A 6-person on-site sauna with an outdoor hot and cold shower is available for private hire - the perfect way to warm up after a winter walk on the coast.
Surrounding Area
Hytte House is on Common Lane, right in the middle of Brancaster Staithe on the North Norfolk coast. The harbour is two minutes' walk away, the Jolly Sailors pub is just fifty yards from the door, and the Norfolk Coast Path is at the end of the lane.
The area is ideal for walking, birdwatching and wildlife, with the salt marshes, Brancaster beach and nature reserves all close by. Kayaks can be hired to explore Brancaster Staithe harbour and the surrounding salt marshes, and the Coasthopper bus runs along the coast for car-free days out.
The pretty villages, pubs and restaurants of the North Norfolk coast, including Burnham Market, are a short drive away, making Hytte House a great base all year round.
