As you enter Close-by there is a large hall. The master bedroom at the front of the house has a double bed, built-in wardrobe and chest of drawers with ample space for a travel cot. The twin room at the rear has two single beds and a chest of drawers. The bath/shower room has a P-shaped bath, over-bath shower, washbasin and wc. The kitchen is spacious and well equipped with an electric cooker, large fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster, kettle, dishwasher, washing machine. This leads through to the sitting/dining room which has comfortable seating, freeview TV, WiFi, bluetooth soundbar, DVD player, electric inset fire, board games and books. The dining table seats up to 6. French doors open out onto the secure garden. At the rear of the property there is a boot room for coats, swimming towels and plenty of space for outdoor shoes and wellies.
The rear garden is secure with terrace, garden table, barbeque, washing line and has a large lawn area. The front garden is surrounded by shrubs and flower beds.
The padlocked garden shed houses the garden chairs, barbeque and is large enough for bicycles for those who wish to come on a cycling holiday.
There is plenty of off-street parking for up to 3 cars or 2 cars and a boat - a real rarity in Blakeney!
Blakeney is a popular village on the North Norfolk coast and from Close-by you are within a 5 minute walk of the quay with its beautiful views over the marshes and tidal creeks, a great place to try your hand at crabbing and a good starting point for a walk along the coastal path. There is much that Blakeney has to offer - a delicatessen, well stocked supermarket, fishmongers, coffee shop, restaurants, pubs, a garage, art galleries, card/gift shops, play park, tennis courts, live music and boat trips from nearby Morston to see the seals on Blakeney Point.
