Twitchers Cottage is a pretty coastal cottage, built in 1897.

As you enter the front door it leads into a hall with a storage cupboard for shoes and coats. Off the hallway is a bathroom containing an electric shower, toilet and wash basin. A spacious utility room with a sink, washing machine, extra fridge, a Nespresso machine and plenty of storage space. From the hallway you can access the kitchen/sitting room which contains comfy sofas, a wood burner, a smart tv as well as amazing views from the patio doors of the marsh and sea. A telescope is provided for bird watching and deer spotting. At the front of the room the fitted kitchen includes a fridge/freezer, fan oven, microwave, dishwasher and toaster as well as a dining table seating six people. It is well equipped with crockery and glasses. There are wooden floors through out the downstairs and free WiFi throughout the cottage.

Upstairs on the second floor is the master bedroom which contains a king sized bed, chest of drawers and hanging space. Views over both the marsh/sea and countryside.

On the first floor is a king-sized bedroom, with wardrobe and chest of drawers with countryside views . The twin room contains a chest of drawers, a DVD player and has views over the marsh/sea. Situated between the two rooms is a bathroom containing a walk in shower, basin and WC.

A highchair and travel cot are available.

Bedding, towels and tea towels are provided. Please bring your own beach towels.

No pets or smoking is not allowed in the cottage.

Sleeping Arrangements

Three Bedrooms - Two Bedrooms with King Sized Beds one with views over the marsh/sea and the other over the countryside. One Bedroom with Twin beds with marsh/sea view. Two bathrooms both with showers.

Outside Property

The front garden is set to lawn and accessed from the main road, a gravelled area provides parking for up to three cars. There is a picnic bench to sit and enjoy a morning coffee. At the rear of the property doors lead to the patio and gravelled back garden, where there is a table and chairs provided to sit on and enjoy the peaceful views. Deck chairs also provided.

Surrounding Area

If you venture out from the cottage, there are lovely beaches and walks to explore at Hunstanton, Holme, Thornham, Titchwell and Brancaster. The beach at Titchwell is only a 25 minute walk away.
It is a haven for bird watching and RSPB Titchwell is on the doorstep and the Norfolk Wildlife Trust at Holme Dunes attracts large numbers of migrating birds.
There is a large number of footpaths and walks in the area including the Peddars Way, the bus stop for the Coast Hopper is meters from the front door and will take you easily along the coast.
Brancaster village is a 15 minute walk away and contains the village shop, play area, tennis courts and The Ship Inn.
In the opposite direction is Thornham village, with Thornham Deli, a play area, Drove Orchard Farm which includes Eric’s Fish and Chips and the three pubs, The Lifeboat, the Orange Tree and The Chequers.
Burnham Market is less than 10 minutes drive away with an array of independent shops as well as Joules, Jack Willis. There are a number of eateries and bars including The Hoste Arms. Mable’s sweetshop is a real treat for children.
Not far away is Holkham where you can visit the house, explore the grounds, hire bikes, or walk to the beach. Sandringham House and gardens are also not far away.
