Tinker's Retreat, originally the coach house to The Old Vicarage dating back to circa 1845, is a true holiday retreat.
Drive through the large wrought iron gates, hang up the car keys, and sit back and enjoy the surroundings.
All on one level this property can comfortably accommodate upto 6 people. There are 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a large spacious lounge and a light and airy large kitchen to the rear with patio doors so you can step out into the private garden with hot tub.
The property has been beautifully furnished to ensure a comfortable stay, and if you want to combine with The Old Viicarage next door, ideal for large family gatherings when you could then sleep upto 18 people comfortably.

Children and pets are very welcome. The garden is fully enclosed and the small pond is completely fenced off. There is a separate conservatory against the old Victorian garden wall, a handy 2nd lounge - so if you fancy bundling the youngsters out from under your feet then this is an ideal place for them or for you!.

There is a large hot tub for 6 people, patio with comfortable patio furniture etc., so after a hectic day out in Norfolk, you can sit in the hot tub and watch the stars overhead.
If you don't fancy driving and want to arrive by train - personal collection from the station can be arranged. If you just can't be bothered to organise a shopping delivery or go shopping for groceries - send me the list and it can all be waiting for you. This is your holiday to enjoy!

Separate large tall fridge freezer (50/50) in the conservatory.
Hot Tub to relax in whenever you fancy.
Central heating.
Patio area with garden furniture - all fenced in so great for keeping young children and pets safe.
Plentiful parking.
3 bedrooms with televisions. Master bedroom furnished with a beautiful Victorian brass bed. All have quality bed linen. Cot and high chair can be provided if required.
2 bathrooms with showers and bath tub - ideal for soaking in after a hard day down at the beach!
All bed linen and towels provided, including towels and robes for the hot tub.
Logs provided for log burner.
Pets welcome!
FREE UNLIMITED WIFI - inc BT Sport 1 and 2.
Welcome tray on arrival.

Normal changeover day is a Friday but short breaks starting on any day of the week are also welcome.

Outside and garden

The private grounds extend to just under 0.75acres which are all private and fenced. The small garden pond is completely fenced in.
Lots of garden furniture so you can sit and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Hot tub and barbeque area, and the separate garden wall conservatory to sit in and enjoy on those cooler evenings.
Plentiful parking so no struggling with finding a space and you can pull up at the front door for easy unloading. Space for a boat if you wish to bring one with you for exploring the Norfolk Broads - please pre-warn us you will need a space for this.

Surrounding area

Tinker's Retreat in Norfolk (photo 7) Tinker's retreat stands in the grounds of The Old Vicarage in a secluded setting on the edge of the village of Worstead which was once a weaving town and gave its name in the middle ages to Worstead cloth. The village has a local pub serving evening meals and also a railway station with trains to Norwich and Sheringham.
There are a number of footpaths and bridleways including Weavers Way nearby.

There is an endless list of places to visit and things to do, too numerous to list everything here. From pretty market towns to visit, some wonderful award winning restaurants and pubs to sample, lots of childrens activities, to bird watching, golfing, fishing and of course, some fabulous big blue skies and beaches to enjoy and for which North Norfolk is famous for.

Approximate Driving Distances: Cathedral city of Norwich 13 miles, North Walsham 3 miles, Aylsham 6 miles, Worstead Station less than 1 mile.
To the local beaches: Happisburgh 5 miles and Mundesley 7 miles, Overstrand 11 miles, Sea Palling and Cromer 12 miles, Sheringham 17 miles.
For exploring the Norfolk Broads the property is less than 5 miles from Wroxham.
