Arranged as master suite and second bedroom with en-suite (Double or 2 singles), the Byre has exceptionally generous proportions and high vaulted ceilings throughout with original exposed oak timbers to all rooms. By contrast with the traditional feel of the building, the Kitchen/ breakfast room and bathrooms are high-end and modern with no expense having been spared in this brand-new restoration for Spring 2019. The main reception / dining room is a very large room with solid oak flooring throughout and Scandinavian log-burner to provide a cosy supplement (if required) to the under-floor heating which extends throughout the property. Lighting is both subtle, zoned and controllable in all spaces. The accommodation is fully equipped with everything the discerning guest would expect to enjoy a luxury home from home holiday experience. Please note smoking is not permitted within the building and we regret that we are unable to accommodate owner's pets..
All rooms (except kitchen) overlook the private, generous-sized walled-courtyard garden . Enjoying a beautifully sunny aspect at most times of the day the garden offers lush planting, a large, raised deck area off the lounge, a barbecue and ample outdoor furniture. Mood lighting.

Within 1m of the unspoilt North Norfolk coast and it's fine beaches,The Byre at Manor Farm was built c 1795 and nestles in a most tranquil and peaceful rural location ideal for those in search of a retreat offering simple country and coastal pleasures on the doorstep but within easy reach of a wealth of holiday activities and places of historical interest to visit. Situated close to the northern edge of the time-less and beautiful Norfolk Broads, boat-hire is available within a few minutes drive and skippered - trips from nearby Wroxham (15mins) operate daily in the season. North Norfolk is renowned for its bird-watching opportunities particularly at Blakeney and RSPB sites at Buckingham Marshes and Catfield Fen. The wonderful seal colony at Horsey is also a must see . Steam railways operate regular schedules from Sheringham /Holt , Wroxham /Aylsham and Wells/Walsingham and a prgramme of festivals for enthusiasts is arranged during the season. In addition a full programme of major ticketed-events is scheduled each season at places such at Holkham, Blickling, Sandringham and Felbrigg. Keen gardeners will delight in a day spent in the wonderful 32 acres of East Ruston Old Vicarage (4 miles) and can find 15 renowned gardens in the area to visit within easy striking distance during a short stay. Excellent standard golf facilities are available in North Norfolk particularly at the majestic, cliff-top, par 72 Royal Cromer Golf Club (20mins) . Also at Sherringham GC (30mins) . A testing 9 hole (par 36) course and driving range can be found nearby at Mundesley GC (10mins). North Norfolk is an excellent destination for families with young children offering safe and near -deserted beaches and plenty to do beside such as a picnic at the delightful Amazonia Zoo in Cromer.
