The Cart Shed is a beautiful brick and flint barn conversion. It really was the cart shed,at one time, and has one of the old cart wheels found there at the time of renovation up on the wall, as well as the original windows. It is wonderfully spacious, full of character, comfortable, and warm. It has a large open plan kitchen/dining/living area with vaulted ceilings, original beams and exposed brick and flint walls. There is a woodburning stove in the main living area [with a useful sheila maid drying rack over], and underfloor heating under the whole ground floor - making it really cosy for the cooler months. There is also a large bathroom downstairs, with roll top bath, shower over, heated towel rail, toilet, bidet, and sink. Upstairs there is a bedroom in the eaves with a king-size bed and a landing where you could put a cot or small bed for a child. The car port can be used as an outside living space like a verandah - which is especially nice in the morning when the sun comes streaming in. Beyond that there is a gravelled area which is the access to the barns in the development. There is a small gate adjacent to the property that leads straight out onto Holt Road - and in one direction you are quickly into countryside with marked footpaths, and in the other it is a short stroll into the centre of the village and on down to the sea. The barn is perfect for a couple and one well- behaved dog is welcome. There is free WiFi.
There are 2 carports for use by visitors at the barn - one can be used for your car, and the other can be used for outside space.with table and chairs.
