Wells Sailing Club provides entertainment during the summer, racing beautiful old wooden sailing boats out on the water at weekends during the high tide. If you feel peckish whilst taking in the local action, you can tuck into fish and chips on the quay wall and enjoy the wonderful views out to sea, but keep an eye on the sea gulls!
A ride on the miniature railway or walk along the beach bank will take you to the picturesque beach, with bordering pine forest and colourful quirky beach huts. From here you can continue walking to the unspoilt award-winning sandy beach of Holkham and the stately home and deer park, belonging to the Coke family.
