Rosemary Cottage is a very pretty 200 year old traditional, end of terrace cottage tucked into a quiet road in the village of Syderstone, which is within easy reach of the Sandringham estate, and the stately homes of Houghton and Holkham. Just a few steps away is the Common with wonderful walks and wildlife, and the village pub is just around the corner. The cottage has been completely renovated to provide a tastefully modern living space, whilst retaining traditional features which give the property that real cottage feel, making it a perfect romantic hideaway at any time of the year. Its location means is ideally situated for exploration of the North Norfolk coast, Burnham Market, Fakenham or Kings Lynn.
A beach hut on Wells beach may be hired in addition to the cottage if you wish.
Changeover is usually on a Friday.

This spacious room with oak beam and multifuel burner is furnished with a 3 seater sofa, easy chair, lamps, TV with Freeview and DVD player and various antique pine pieces of furniture. A selection of books, games and DVDs are provided.
By the front window overlooking the garden is a dining table and 4 chairs. There is a quarry tiled floor in the sitting room and kitchen.
The cream fully fitted shaker style contemporary kitchen comprises of a range of base and wall units with drawers and worktop surfaces incorporating a 1.5 Franke bowl and mixer tap. It is equiped with washing machine, dishwasher, fridge with freezer box, oven with hob over and microwave etc.
The all new shower room with quality fixtures comprises of walk in shower, pedestal basin, toilet, chrome radiator/towel rail, recessed ceiling lights and ceramic tiled floor.
A traditional Norfolk winder staircase give access from the cloaks area to the first floor. A handrail is provided but the staircase is winding and quite steep!
A generous size room with kingsize bed, fitted wardrobe, two antique pine chest of drawers and bedside table and lamps. The dormer window to the rear has views to Syderstone Common.

The cottage is approached from the off road shingled car parking area beside a lavender border. Additional parking is available on the quiet road outside.
The small fully enclosed cottage garden, secure for a small dog and small children. It comes with a Rosemary bush beside the front door and is laid mainly to lawn with shrubs, apple tree and flint edged borders. There is a patio with garden furniture and additional garden seats for sitting out.
A log store is located behind the cottage and a secure shed is also provided
One small well behaved dog is permitted downstairs at an additional cost of pound;15.
Rosemary cottage is in the village of Syderstone and is situated in a quiet and peaceful location overlooking Syderstone Common. The village has a pub, the Lynn Arms which is under new management and well worth a try and a nine hundred year old round towered church. Syderstone Common is an SSSI nature reserve home to the rare Natterjack toad.
Syderstone is about 8 miles from the stunning North Norfolk coast, which is welll known for its nature reserves, sandy beaches, salt marshes and country walks.

Close by is the Georgian village of Burnham Market, the market town of Fakenham and Houghton and Holkham Halls.
The cottage is within close proximity to the bird and nature reserves of Titchwell, Sculthorpe and Pensthorpe.
