Set well back from a quiet country lane. It is comfortably furnished and well equipped throughout. WiFi is available and all rooms are centrally heated via radiators. Smoking is not allowed and we do not accept pets.
Wheel chair users and those with limited mobility may wish to note that the property is on one level with no steps to negotiate. The wetroom to Bedroom One will accommodate a wheelchair if required.
Bedroom One has a King-size bed and en suite wetroom.
Bedroom Two is available with either a King-size or twin beds as required and has an en suite bathroom, bath with shower over.
The Kitchen is well planned and fitted with an electric oven, ceramic hob, fridge freezer, microwave, dishwasher and a comprehensive range of cooking utensils and crockery.
The adjoining Lounge / Dining Room is comfortably furnished with 2 leather sofas and the dining table easily seats four. There is an LCD TV with radio together with a DVD/CD player and a range of books, CDs and games are provided. There are also maps and a comprehensive library of local information.
The separate laundry room has an automatic washing machine, airer, iron, ironing board and storage space for bicycles or other equipment. A barbecue and garden furniture are provided for dining and relaxing outdoors.
Spennithorne Cottage has ample, off road parking for two vehicles. The grounds of High Green Farm, extending to almost 7 acres, are private and enclosed and guests are welcome to explore or relax in all parts of the garden and grounds at their leisure. The gardens, which catch the sun all day, are beautifully designed and maintained incorporating extensive flower beds and a large fish pond. There is a network of paths with seating around the fields, natural pond and an orchard.
The small village of Stanfield with its 13th century church is close to the towns of Dereham, Fakenham and Swaffham each with a weekly market and good selection of shops and services. The nearest village shop is just over a mile away and a wide range of produce is also available from local farm shops.
North Norfolk has something for everyone all year round. The coast is a Heritage Coast and Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and a chain of national nature reserves stretches all the way from Holme to Cley. There are several important bird reserves and many acres of woodland, parks and gardens open to the public.
Other attractions include sites of historical interest, craft centres and workshops, working farms, steam railways and a wide range of museums, galleries and collections.
