Coastguard Cottage is now available and, if you have children and/or pets that love the beach, then this is for you! Dogs are very welcome as they are at all of our properties.
This is the last property before the slipway to the beach which is just fabulous with miles and miles of glorious sand and beautiful dazzling sea. Awarded the Blue Flag again for 2018. More about that later. . .
Coastguard Cottage is all on the ground floor. Sleeps 5 comfortably in 2 bedrooms with a bathroom with shower over the bath, kitchen / diner fully equipped including that all important dishwasher, large comfortable lounge with log burner, unlimited wifi etc. There is also a separate utility with washing machine, drying facilities and a large fridge freezer in addition to the fridge already in the kitchen which is great if you fancy having a large grocery shop delivered on your arrival so you don’t have to bother with the dreaded supermarket shop. You can even book to have it delivered before you arrive and we will put it away ready for you.
No need to worry about parking – you have private parking for 2 cars.
Coastguard Cottage is an old Victorian house that, as the name suggests, was once the home of the Coastguard and hence why it is so close to the beach. It has been restored sympathetically and to a high standard with lots of quirky seaside themed décor, including some original vintage navigation charts still with the Captain's calculations on them! Quite often you can sit and watch the seals from the beach and during the summer there is a Lifeguard on duty, which is always a reassuring touch to holiday makers with young families. The beach this year was one of the UK’s Blue Flag Beaches and is ideal for young and old who want a traditional ‘bucket and spade’ holiday. And with Coastguard Cottage being so close, you can always nip back for lunch to avoid the sandy sandwich or to top up the ice box with cool beers on those summer days (and the thermos with hot coffee for the winter!).

Sea Palling is a great village and was even mentioned in the Domesday Book of 1086 where it was recorded as having just 9 villagers! With a long history of smuggling and popular with the Victorians for holidaying, it still stands strong today and is a popular attraction with holidaymakers of today! It has a local pub, fish and chip shop, café which are all very close by and the local store with a post office is just along Beach Road itself – all are within easy walking distance.
