We are pet free.

Enter the cottage from the quiet cut de sac and you will find a cosy and comfortable lounge with two sofas, bean bag, woodburning stove, smart TV, DVD player and bluetooth/wi-fi speaker. There are many books, games, puzzles and DVD's to enjoy too plus lots of local information.

Adjoining the lounge is the well equipped open plan kitchen and dining room. The kitchen has a washing machine, microwave & Nespresso machine. The bathroom/wetroom with WC, basin and shower is also downstairs and adjoins the dining area. Bath sheets, hand towels and bath mat are all provided.

From the lounge the stairs lead to three light and airy bedrooms, two doubles and one single. The first bedroom has a cupboard with hanging space and other two bedrooms have hanging space on the walls and cupboard space. All bed linen is provided.

As this is an old property the stairs leading up to the three bedrooms are slightly steeper and narrower than modern properties. This is worth taking into consideration if you are staying with small children or adults with mobility issues.

A travel cot, high chair, safety gate and baby bath are provided but please bring your own linen for use with the travel cot and beach towels.

Surrounding area

Stones Throw Cottage in Norfolk (photo 4) Mundesley is a lovely thriving seaside village and the perfect place to get away from it all. It has much to offer for people of all ages including a very good park with zip wire, skate/scooter park, outdoor mini gym, crazy golf, amusements and multi use games area. All are just a short walk from the cottage. There is also a 9-hole golf course in Mundesley.

The beach, which is just yards from the cottage stretches for miles and is wonderful for walking, swimming, surfing, building sand castles or just to relax and read a book or enjoy a picnic.

During the summer months the main area of the beach is patrolled by RNLI lifeguards. Lots of pools are left on the beach as the tide goes out and children can splash about and play in these very safely. You'll also find toilets, the beach cafe (open during the summer) and a well stocked shop selling buckets, spades, etc and where you can hire wind breaks and deck chairs. And of course buy some ice creams!

The village also has a wonderful choice of shops, cafes, a fabulous fish and chip shop and great pub grub is served at The Ship Inn.
