We regret we do not accept pets and do not permit smoking in the lodge or on the decking.
Outside there is a large decking area - perfect for relaxing on or for enjoying an al fresco meal. This is equipped with gates at both stairs, making it a potentially secure area for toddlers. The plot is reasonably private with various sunny areas and plenty of space to play. There is private parking for two cars.
The lodge is less than 4 minutes walk from the centre of the site - the' Village Square' where most of the general facilities are to be found including the Leisure Centre, Restaurant and shop. The park also offers a fishing pond, dipping pond, tennis courts and table tennis tables, adventure playground, assault course, bike hire and delightful walks - as well as its own stop on the Poppy Line steam railway giving access to Holt and Sheringham. In the summer, the Coast Hopper bus calls at the park centre.
(Please note that no specific facility can be guaranteed at any time - for full details of the forest park and facilities, please visit: www.kellingheath.co.uk)
In both Holt and Sheringham you will find plenty of individual shops and eateries. Also within easy reach of the park, you will find, for example, excellent walks, beaches of various types, bird watching, museums, interesting houses and gardens as well as children's activities, cinema, bowling, splash pool etc. Further afield you can visit Norwich or the broads.
