Mount Amelia - Ingoldisthorpe Hall & Cottages offers luxury accommodation for large groups, up to 34 people. The properties can also be rented separately offering accommodation for 18-20, 6, 4/5 and 4.
The Hall was built in 1745, and originally named 'Mount Amelia'. It is located in 30 acres of private grounds and parkland and offers exceptional views across the Norfolk coast and is just one of a few Grade II* listed Country Houses in England.
Ingoldisthorpe Hall - The main house accommodation is ideally suited to large groups and can comfortably sleep up to 18-20 people. The Hall is available to rent for holidays, weekends and one off events - making it a home from home for family gatherings, birthday parties, the wedding of your dreams or simply a relaxing holiday. Many of our large groups have special requirements for their holiday and we are able to put you in touch with a chef or other contacts - please enquire on booking.
Self-catering Cottages - these 3 well-appointed, charming estate holiday cottages can be booked together with Ingoldisthorpe Hall or on their own. The cottages have been equipped with absolutely everything that you will need for your holiday in Norfolk. They sleep from 4-6 people and are available for holiday rental throughout the year.
The Mount Amelia Estate is ideally positioned on the beautiful and undulating North Norfolk coast and lies on the boundary of the Royal Estate at Sandringham, just one of the amazing country houses to visit in the area. The property is within easy reach of the coast with lovely sandy beaches at Hunstanton, Brancaster and Holkham. The market towns of Fakenham, Swaffham and Kings Lynn are close by as well as the idyllic Norfolk villages of Snettisham, Burnham Market and Holt nearby.

The Hall is set in thirty acres of private grounds and parkland. There is ample parking space. Guests can enjoy the grounds as well as the York stone terrace with BBQ that offers stunning views across the Wash. Great flat areas for playing games outside.
Ivy Cottage has lovely views over the parkland. The sitting room leads out onto a private terrace within the walled garden at the rear. Perfect for those summer BBQ's and a safe and secluded spot for children to play. Parking for 2 cars.
Gardeners Cottage is a semi-detached period cottage with views over the parkland. The dining room opens out onto a terrace at the rear with a small garden which looks over a paddock and woodland. Parking for 2 cars.
Grooms Cottage is semi-detached period cottage with views over the park. Ground floor galley kitchen with a good size dining area leading onto a small terrace at the rear and garden area. Parking for 2 cars.
There is an endless list of places to visit and things to do, including Sandringham Estate, Houghton Hall, Holkham Hall, many art exhibitions, crabbing at many of the coastal villages, lovely market towns to visit, fabulous restaurants and pubs close by, coastal walks, famous beaches, there are lots of children's activities in Hunstanton and close by.
