Langton's View cottage is beautifully presented & exceptional value for money, it is fantastic for a budget holiday without compromising on standards. Set in a beautiful, relaxing riverside location, the Cottage is delightful, with a private pontoon for mooring a day boat from JB Boats, a little fishing, or to watch the varied bird and wild life at it's best or to relax with a glass of wine and enjoy the peace & quiet, the secluded balcony is south facing & has the benefit of the sunshine all afternoon and a wonderful view of the spectacular Norfolk sunsets! If you are lucky you may see our resident otter!!

The cottage has sliding patio doors opening onto a spacious private balcony, with patio furniture, ideal for sun bathing, relaxing with a good book & a glass of wine or eating 'al fresco'. The deceptively spacious, recently refurbished, immaculate accommodation comprises - one double bedroom with TV and DVD palyer and one twin bedroom with TV with plenty of storage, 2 small steps up to the rest of the accommodation .Well equipped kitchen complete with microwave & brand new built in oven & ceramic hob. The lounge is very comfortably furnished with the benefit of two new leather sofas, new carpets & curtains, complete with new 50" flat screen free view TV, DVD player with a large selection of family movies, Digibox & CD player and four seater dining room table. The pretty, modern, brand new bathroom includes a bath with shower over, WC and washbasin. There is ample heating provided by oil filled radiators.

Langton's View has a private secluded balcony complete with outdoor dining furniture for dining al fresco or enjoying a glass of wine and watching the wild life. There is a private pontoon for fishing etc. The balcony faces east so it benefits from the sunshine right through to sunset !!

Horning is a family friendly village which provides good local amenities including three riverside pubs, restaurants, Chinese takeaway, tea rooms, deli, butcher, newsagent/grocery store and post office. Fine sandy beaches are a 20 minute drive away, a bit further afield some of the beaches in Norfolk Norfolk are among the most beautiful in the country. Self drive Picnic boat hire is available next door to Langton's View at JB Boat Sales, they can be hired by the day or the week to suit all budgets. For the more fun loving members of your party why not spend a day at 'Bewilderwood' the Tree House Adventure Park which is just up the road. Wroxham Barns craft centre makes for a lovely day out with its craft shops, children's fun fair and junior farm where all the family can feed and interact with the animals and its only 3 miles away. The Bure Valley Railway leaves from Wroxham, an old Great Eastern line it links Wroxham to the ancient market town of Alysham, great fun for all the family. There is an excellent 18 hole golf course 6 miles away. There are several stately homes in the area to visit such as Sandringham House, Her Majesty The Queen's Norfolk residence, Holkham and Blickling Hall and many National Trust properties. The fine city of Norwich is close by with its wonderful shopping mall under the 900 year old Castle, new Chapelfield Mall and the beautiful Cathedral containing many architectural features. Only 13 miles away by car, 15 minutes by train from Wroxham, Norwich has quaint cobbled streets and alleyways, museums and a busy colourful market selling a variety of goods including fantastic locally produced produce.
Langton's View is in an ideal setting beside the water on a quiet dyke just off the River Bure in the beautiful village of Horning.
