The cottage dates from the 1700's and was tastefully renovated to a very high standard in 2019. It consists of a quality fitted, well equpped dining kitchen with a large oak table to seat 8. The dual aspect cosy sitting room leads off the kitchen and has a large inglenook fireplace with a wood burner. There are 3 luxury bathrooms - two are ensuite and serve the king size bedrooms on the ground floor and the other large family bathroom with both a shower cubicle and bath is located on the first floor with two a further bedrooms; one twin and one king.
The house is well equipped to ensure you have everything you need to enjoy a break away.
The configuration of the rooms makes it an ideal property for 2 families or an extended family to share.

There is a private south west facing terrace leading off the kitchen - perfect for al fresco dining. There is a table to seat 8 and a charcoal BBQ. At the rear of the property there is a private car park with parking for up to three cars.
The house is well placed to explore all the many wonderful places that North Norfolk has to offer. It located in the hamlet of Great Walsingham, just 1 mile from is celebrated neighbour historic Little Walsingham, famous for its religious shrines in honour of the Virgin Mary. There are numerous pubs, a bistro, cafes, farm shop and village shop located in Little Walsingham which is an easy walk from the house or short drive. It is also home to the Walsingham to Wells Light Railway - a must for all especially little ones.
Less than a 15 minute drive takes you to the popular seaside town of Wells-next-the-Sea or Holkam both with miles of sandy beaches backed by pine trees and dunes to explore. The hamlet sits in the vale of the river Stiffkey, and the house is surrounded by stunning countryside, with a picturesque ford and is ideal for long walks or cycle rides from the front door.
Holt and Burnham Market are just 20 minutes away for some retail therapy and offer many independent shops and boutiques to browse in.
Just over the road from the house is Great Walsingham Barns, a well-known centre for arts and crafts with a delightful cafe which is open daily 10 - 5pm and amongst other delicious offerings serves award winning homemade pies - to eat in or takeaway!
For provisions either you can visit one of the shops in Little Walsingham, especially Walsingham Farms Shop - a gourmet delight offering locally sourced food including meat, vegetables, deli items, bread and cakes and so much more. Or visit Fakenham just 6 miles away you will find a whole selection of shops and supermarkets, but please note all the major supermarkets will also deliver to the house - just organise your delivery to arrive after you have checked in.
There are also many good pubs and restaurants close by for you to try.
