Situated just outside the peaceful village of Great Ryburgh on the owner's farm, which has six acres adjacent to the River Wensum available for fishing, small Lake containing A Grade Crucian Carp Tench and Roach. We also now have a 1 acre lake on the meadow containing Crucian and Tench which is part of the National Crucian Conservation Project. Wild flower meadows to maximise the biodiversity gain on site. During excavations we also discovered a unknown Anglo Saxon Burial ground from around 750 AD which was nationally reported in the news/ press and worldwide on the 16.11.16 and featured on Digging For Britain East screened on the 20.12.16. BBC Inside Out also featured the discovery on the 28.2.17
The cottage is beautifully decorated and has two gardens one with a BBQ. There is a private indoor heated pool on site for use by arrangement for several hours a day free.
