One bedroom with a king size bed and an en-suite bathroom with a shower.
The apartment is part of our house which was a former Rectory dating from Georgian times set in two and a half acres of gardens. It is secluded, peaceful and relaxing, and completely private with a seperate entrance and private courtyard garden. The property is accessed through the private courtyard which you can drive into . There are three steps up to the front door where you will find the ground floor accommodation which consists of a large, very well equipped kitchen with an electric cooker, an induction hob, a dishwasher, a full size fridge/freezer and a dining table. There is also a separate toilet and wash hand basin on this floor as well as an area to hang coats and store boots etc.
Upstairs is the bedroom which has a Kingsize bed which is made up with 300 count Egyptian cotton bedlinen and duvets and pillows which are hypoallergenic.the bed also has an electric blanket for chilly nights. There is also a dressing table , a built in wardrobe and chest of drawers. This room faces South and West which affords some lovely views of the surrounding countryside and some stunning sunsets. Lastly there is an en-suite shower room with a toilet and wash hand basin and a selection of towels.
The living room is large and has two sofas , a dining table , a selection of books, DVDs, ,maps etc in a large dresser and a 40 inch flat screen TV and DVD player . Again there are some lovely views out the south and North facing windows and at certain times of the year you get a very close look at the nesting Housemartins.
The apartment is centrally heated throughout with the addition of an electric fire in the living room , extra blower heaters and blankets for extra cosiness.
Outside their is a private courtyard garden , which is very large and suitable for parking your car and relaxing on the swinging chair , lounger chairs or having an alfresco breakfast or dinner at the table and chairs. There is also plenty of space for parking outside the courtyard as the house is set in two and a half acres should you prefer. We have also plenty of secure outbuildings to store bicycles, windsurfing equipment , boats etc.The gardens is a very peaceful place and we are lucky that we have alot of birds and wildlife that nests and visits.
The village of East Barsham is a beautiful quiet place that is home to Barsham Manor , a magnificent Tudor Manor , a church steeped in history that dates back to the Domesday book and a newly refurbished Pub serving some lovely food..We are in a fantastic central location near to the coast for Wells next the Sea and Holkham and a bit further for the seaside towns of Hunstanton, Sheringham and Cromer. We are ideally located for the bird and nature reserves of Titchwell, Holme and Pensthorpe, home of BBC s spring and autumn watch..Our nearest town is Fakenham, about 4 miles away where there are Tescos, and Morrisons supermarkets and general shops such as Boots, Superdrug and Newsagents etc..plus on Thursdays there is a weekly market and fascinating auction.
A perfect place for a relaxing , peaceful break , in a glorious rural location.
