1 ensuite double and 1 twin with bathroom
Church Knoll is a sun-drenched house with fantastic views over Cley church. It will appeal to guests expecting high standards and is much larger than many 2 bedroom cottages locally. Large hallway, kitchen with breakfast table and a door to the patio for outdoor breakfasts. There's a dishwasher, washing machine, fridge-freezer, micro-wave, electric hob and oven. The sitting / dining room has amazing views and french doors to the patio. There's a log fire, two comfy sofas, TV, DVD and free wifi. Upstairs the double bedroom has a king size bed and spacious en-suite shower room. The twin room uses a separate bathroom off the landing (with shower over the bath). Both will be made up with laundered linen and towels. (An extra bed can be arranged by negotiation.)
The electric heating system and hot water is included in the price.
Tucked away down a small lane with only two houses, it is beautifully peaceful.
Please note that although we love dogs, we regret don't allow pets in our cottage.
There's a pretty south east facing patio garden surrounded by flint walls with shrubs and flowers. We have a Barlow Tyrie table and chairs for six people. Perfect for eating out or reading. Beautiful views over Cley church and countryside beyond. Church Knoll is situated down a short private lane which makes it very peaceful. The private parking area across the lane from the front door (large enough for 2 cars) means you can park right by the house.
Situated on a hill overlooking Cley church, Church Knoll is near the village green and less than a 5 minute walk to the Three Swallows pub. A 15 minute walk through the village will put you onto Cley marshes and beach is beyond. Cley is one of the prettiest villages on the North Norfolk coast with a much photographed windmill. It is renowned for bird-watching. There are two pubs in Cley and many more a short drive away. Fantastic deli in Cley plus smoked fishery. For more shopping, the Georgian town of Holt is 3 miles away.
