York Cottage is a superb, comfortable family home with plenty of space and a large secure walled garden in a quiet location in the village of Brancaster, a short walk from Brancaster beach, the coastal path and the Royal West Norfolk golf course.

A wide gate opens onto the road. There is parking space for 2 cars on the road outside the cottage and further cars can be parked in the garden.
The excellent Ship pub and restaurant is in walking distance. The house is also within 200 yards of a lovely children's play area and tennis courts. Additional attractions in Brancaster include golf at the Royal West Norfolk Golf Club, kite surfing, windsurfing and kite flying on Brancaster beach. It is a walkers and dog lovers paradise famous for its salt marshes with their diverse and abundant wildlife, undulating dunes and sandy beaches that stretch for miles.
Nearby, the harbour at Brancaster Staithe has excellent facilities for sailing and watersports. Here you will find the Jolly Sailors pub and The White Horse with its stunning views over the marsh.
For bird lovers there is the RSPB in the next village of Titchwell.
Shopping in Burnham Deepdale and Burnham Market offers a full range of outstanding food, delis, fresh fish, gift, antique and clothing shops. In the nearby village of Thornhan there are many pubs and restaurants, a fabulous deli/cafe, Drove Orchard farm shop and a restaurant in a yurt and Eric's renown fish and chips. At Holme-next-the-Sea there is a beautiful beach and nature reserve and also a good pub.
Sandringham, Holkham and Houghton Hall are nearby as are other numerous attractions for children and adults.
