Wiveton Hall is one of north Norfolk's secret architectural gems. It is an impressive, flint-faced, Dutch-gabled hall built in the 17th century by a prosperous merchant on what had been monastic land.
Accommodation:
In the Edwardian period a Jacobean-style wing was added to provide the then essential billiard room, ball room and gun room - rooms which have since been converted into wonderfully spacious living accommodation. It is this self-contained wing with its own entrances, that is available to rent.
The wing is furnished throughout with the kind of family furniture and pictures traditional in a country house.
