Inside the property
A pretty 2 bedroom semi detached brick and flint cottage in a quiet rural location. Carefully renovated in 2010 keeping original features; pamment tile floors, wood panelling and original doors.
Hand built kitchen with underfloor heating, dishwasher, microwave, washroom with airer.
Heating is via a heat pump and there is a new log burning stove in the sitting room. Views front and back overlook fields, this is a great base from which to explore North Norfolk.
Outside and garden
The cottage has a large garden and original well, there is a lawn and beyond the post and rail, a wild garden.
The patio area is south and west facing and is a sun trap with picnic bench and parasol.
Plenty of parking for two or more cars on the gravel driveway.
Surrounding area
The cottage is 10 minutes from the most attractive part of the North Norfolk coast and is also well situated for exploring Holt, Cromer, Fakenham etc. There are a number of National Trust properties within easy driving distance.A walk to Thursford Wood, probably the oldest woodland in Norfolk, can be done from the front door!
