Thursford is best known for The Thursford Collection which is situated in the quiet and pretty part of the village at Thursford Green.
This incredible collection of old steam engines, farm equipment and restored antique fairground rides and organs is well worth a visit and the annual Christmas Spectacular attracts literally thousands of visitors every year.
There is also a cafe and restaurant here,

The village itself is a perfect example of a sleepy Norfolk village. Where the Holt to Fakenham road passes Thursford you will find The Crawfish pub which also has an excellent Thai restaurant.

A little further towards Fakenham you will find the well known Old Forge Seafood Restaurant which has received awards for its excellent food, and also offers B&B.
