About Voewood

Voewood is a unique and beautifully presented Arts and Crafts country house that has been refurbished to the highest standard by its present owner.
It successfully combines an interior that includes bold contemporary designs while remaining true to the essence of the original building.
Voewood is the perfect wedding venue. It offers an ideal setting for intimate weddings or larger occasions for up to a maximum of 150 guests. The Main Hall is large enough for a reception of 100 guests. The terrace doors open onto the handsome terrace from where steps and paths lead down to the sunken garden.
It has spacious individually designed and decorated rooms, magnificent stone fireplaces and a gallery overlooking the Grade 1 listed garden. There is accommodation available for 32 guests.
The extensive grounds are surrounded by woodland and include a formal sunken garden that can be reached from the spacious terrace, an elegant fountain and paths lined with standard rose trees.
There is also a charming and mature kitchen garden planted with persimmons, greengages, apples, fig trees and grape vines.
There is a large well equipped kitchen area with full facilities for self catering or for external caterers.
