The Cottage is detached and sit's in a peaseful area at the centre of this histotic coastal village and was constructed some 150 years ago but has been carefully restored to keep plenty of it's old charm yet bringing it into the 21st century.


Thurn Cottage has the following accommodation to help you enjoy your holiday.


Sitting Room/Dining Room with SonyLCD TV/BlueRay/Dvd player/Full WiFi/iPod/Radio/Cd player.

Fully fitted pine kitchen with double oven, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, microwave and full range of modern utensils.

Bathroom with overbath shower/porcilain sink/heated towel rail.

Bedrooms: One double bedroom and one twin bedroom with period pine furniture. A travel cot is available for you.

The cottage has full central heating through out and is fully controllable at no extra cost.


Payphone is available for you as there can be poor signal for some mobile phones...being so near too the coast line.

Linen...no charge.

Outside Features

Private off road parking and a patio garden inside a secluded walled area.

The property is detached & peacefully located in the centre of this lovely coastal village where you will find an award winning delicantesent like no other stocking excellent local produce, home baked bread,fine wines and a wide selection of exotic fayre.Also with the opportunity for lovely places to eat out locally... be it Pub or Restaurant!

There is also 'Cley' pottery and Cley Smokehouse with a wide range of smoked local fish and the famous Cromer crab; a great book shop and also'Pinkfoot'our very own 'art'shop with fantastic local artist's and two excellent pubs serving fine cooked food,wine and ale's.

Regarded by many as one of the best spots in Britain for bird watching the hides at Cley afford fantastic views over the Cley Marsh Nature Reserve.
There is a popular visitors centre where passes for the hides can be purchased. The Norfolk Wildlife Trust centre at Cley serves coffee and light lunches, with a fantastic view over the reserve, and a short walk inland the village of Cley has a wonderful range of unique local businesses, including a deli, a smokehouse, a traditional pottery, a book shop, a gallery and a tea room.

The George Hotel, and the Three Swallows pub on the green opposite the spectacular Church both offer drinks, meals and accommodation
