Situated in the picturesque village of Blakeney, on the North Norfolk Coast, this charming cottage has been beautifully furnished and well equipped, to provide quite exceptional accommodation for up to six people.


ACCOMMODATION - GROUND FLOOR
Downstairs, the cottage has an open plan living area with stripped pine floor, which comprises lounge area with comfortable sofas, B&O Hi-Fi system and woodburning stove in Inglenook fireplace, a dining area with table and chairs, an excellently equipped kitchen in sky blue including range cooker, dishwasher, microwave, washer/dryer, fridge and separate freezer.
There are also a toilet and washbasin.

UPSTAIRS
Upstairs there are three bedrooms all with original stripped pine floors and the bathroom, beautiful kitted out in contemporary style with roll top bath, Hudson Reed power shower and latest Fired Earth tiles;

The Master bedroom has wrought-iron double bed, pine wardrobes and drawers, the second and third attic bedroom are twins, one of which is reached through the master bedroom again with pine furniture. The attic room or look out has fabulous views of Blakeney Marsh and Point. This room is cosy.

Particularly good for any bird watchers.

There is a wealth of activities close at hand, including Blakeney National Nature Reserve, which is a long sand and shingle spit, with fine sea views and wide open skies;

Sheringham Park is one of the finest examples of Humphrey Repton's garden design - mature woodlands with rare trees and shrubs.

Children are well catered-for too, with excursions to see the seals and birds in their natural environment at Blakeney Point,

Sheltered by Blakeney point, the Village of Blakeney is one of the most picturesque in Norfolk. Crabbing off the quay is a popular pastime with children.
In the evening the sun sets over the creek, creating some truly breathtaking views.
Seal trips take holidaymakers to Blakeney Point, although they mostly leave from Morston the neighbouring village along the coast as the channel in Blakeney is now very silted. You can see the seals as they bask on the sand of Blakeney point.
Blakeney regatta takes place on the last weekend in July each year, with hundreds of people coming together to participate in (or just watch) a fantastic array of swimming races, tug-of-war across the creek, and of course the infamous greasy pole competition.

Blakeney is located on the North Norfolk Coast, just North of the small market town of Holt.
This part of the coastline has been designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty ANOB and the marshes and wide open spaces around Blakeney make it a haven for migratory birds and wildlife.

Blakeney used to be a small port, but is now a quiet village and provides an ideal location for a family holiday. There are two hotels, a number of holiday cottages to rent, and several B&Bs.

The village has a strong identity, and is a thriving and active community. There is a small supermarket, butchers, fishmongers, and chandlers, pubs and a post office as well a range of shops for holidaymakers
