The Old Stores is a beautiful, spacious, well equipped house situated in the centre of Brancaster, about 15 minutes walk from the beach.The House has just been refurbished to an extremely high standard. The property has an enclosed garden with parking for 3-4 cars,large garden and BBQpatio area. The house sleeps 8-10 with one bathroom and two shower rooms, and would comfortably accommodate two families or a group of friends.
The North Norfolk coast is famous for its beautiful fine white sandy beaches and miles of coastal walks.It is an excellent area for nature lovers and bird watchers with reserves at nearby Titchwell, Holme, Scolt Head Island and Snettisham.
Freshly caught shellfish and seafood is available less than a mile away at Brancaster Staithe along with many farm shops and delicatessens providing the very best in organic locally grown food.For lunching or shopping the picturesque village of Burnham Market is only 8 miles away.

ACCOMMODATION

Downstairs there is a large dining room through to a brand new fully fitted kitchen with fridge freezer, dishwasher, double oven, washing machine etc. Large stylish sitting room with an open fire. Brand new shower room and wc. Upstairs there are 4 bedrooms 2 double and 2 twins family bathroom and another shower room with wc.
The house has recently been refurbished to an extremely high standard.


Bed linen is provided in the cost of the holiday.Short breaks linen is charged at £3.50 per head if required. Towels are an extra charge of £3.50 per head.

OUTSIDE

There is an enclosed garden with parking 3 to 4 average size cars. Garden furniture is provided and also a kettle barbeque.There is a large BBQPatio area

OTHER INFORMATION

There is oil fired central heating. The cost of electricity and heating included in the price.

Well behaved dogs are welcome but must remain downstairs and are not allowed to sleep on the chairs. Please bring your own bowls, bedding and towels to wipe paws.

We ask our guests not to smoke indoors please.

LOCATION AND LOCAL AMENITIES

The Old Stores is located in an area of outstanding natural beauty and is within easy walking distance to the Coastal Path, beach, pub serving good food, shop, post office and church. Most of the coastline around Brancaster is owned by the National Trust and consists of miles and miles of sandy beaches. A fort stood here in Roman times, Branoduni Castra, its purpose to protect the north coast against marauding Frankish and Saxon pirates. The village was then known as Branodunum.

This is an excellent area for nature lovers and bird watchers with reserves at nearby Titchwell, Holme, Scolt Head Island and Snettisham. Other attractions include the golf course, sailing from Brancaster Staithe, Stately homes such as Holkham Hall, Houghton Hall and Sandringham plus the Victorian seaside town of Hunstanton. There are many good restaurants and pubs in the vicinity.
