The Lawns is a Georgian house in the centre of Holt, which has been extensively renovated to a high standard. The eight bedrooms are comfortable, light and airy with a wine bar and dining room downstairs. The bedrooms have been awarded 4 gold stars by the AA and 1 rosette for the quality of the food.
The Lawns is open all year round and welcomes both residents and non-residents alike.

The hotel is set in a wonderful garden with ample secure parking. It is perfectly located to enjoy all the facilities of Holt, a Georgian town near the North Norfolk Coast with wonderful shops.

The delights of North Norfolk are all within striking distance with Wells-next-the-Sea, Stiffkey, Blakeney, Cley and Thursford within 12 miles. Gresham’s School is a short walk away.

The Lawns has been renovated and is owned by Daniel Rees and Sue Catt who had great success running The White Horse in Blakeney for fourteen years.

Holt is a picturesque, bustling North Norfolk town. There is a fantastic variety of shops to visit here, almost all of which are unique, independent local businesses.

There is a wealth of boutique clothes shops, several Art Galleries and gift shops as well as cafes, restaurants and bars.

Holt is perhaps at its most attractive over the Christmas period, when the award winning Christmas lights transform the town into a veritable winter wonderland.

Holt Country park has some great walks, and is situated just outside the town.

The Poppy Line, part of the North Norfolk Steam Railway runs from here to the popular seaside town of Sheringham, and just down the hill Letheringsett Watermill offers working viewings of the only flour producing watermill in Norfolk.
