The central location of Hingham makes it a perfect location to explore the unique wonders of Norfolk. The area in, and around, breckland was, in early medieval times, one of the most prosperous in England: this is the reason why there are so many interesting market towns, magnificent stately homes and gardens, historic sites, beautiful churches, imposing cathedrals and lovely villages like Hingham.
