9 Carpenters Cottages forms part of a group of 18thC artisans' dwellings within easy walking distance of the shops and amenities of Holt, yet minutes from the Common, Country Park and coast. Built in traditional style with pantile roof, the cottage stays cool in summer and warm in winter and provides a comfortable and convenient base from which to explore the many attractions of North Norfolk.

NO 9 is probably the oldest cottage in the complex -although the flint and brick was, sadly, rendered at some point - and has great character. Upstairs there is a spacious bedroom with a king-sized bed and new secondary double glazing. The bathroom includes a shower over the bath, shaver point and airing cupboard. All linen is included in the price. Downstairs there is a small, well-equipped kitchen which includes microwave and fridge-freezer as well as conventional cooker. The living room is comfortably furnished with sofa and armchair and has a dining table with chairs for four if required. There is a television with video and DVD and a collection of books, maps and visitor information.

ALL HOT WATER and gas central heating is included in the rental. Pets are welcome for a charge of £10.00 per week and there is off-road parking. No.9 is available all year round and is looked after by the owner, who lives nearby.

LETTING is from Saturday to Saturday. Bookings are normally for full weeks only, although late booked and low-season short stays may be possible. Absolute minimum £150, regardless of the length of stay, during Jan Feb. £200 thereafter. Please ask about concessions on bookings of a fortnight or more.

Prices range from £200.00 per week in the low season to £375.00 in high season.
